Acai Refresher
I am all about saving money, so let me show you how to make your favorite Acai Refresher right at home for a fraction of the cost. Skip the drive-thru and make your own, it tastes so much better!

Notes: There is no caffeine in this version, if you would like to add caffeine you can find green coffee bean extract powder or caffeine powder on Amazon and add that in at your discretion before cooling the syrup.
๐งพ Ingredients ๐งพ
2 cups of white grape juice
2 cups strawberries
1.5 teaspoon acai powder
1/4 teaspoon citric acid
1/2 teaspoon passionfruit powder
1/2 cup white granulated sugar (optional for additional sweetness)
๐จ๐ณ Instructions ๐จ๐ณ
1) Blend together the strawberries and the white grape juice.
2) Pour the blended mixture into a medium saucepan and bring to a boil, boil for 5 minutes, monitoring to ensure that the mixture does not boil up and over the edges of the pot.
3) Remove the pot from the heat, add in the acai powder, citric acid, passionfruit powder and optionally sugar if you like your beverages sweet.
4) Cool the mixture to room temperature before placing in an airtight container and holding in the fridge for up to 10 days.
5) To serve, mix 1 part syrup and 1 part water together, then pour over ice. Optionally you can add freeze dried strawberries or freshly slices strawberries to the beverage.
